Caffeine Bagel

She jumps around on a trampoline
She wanted to drink some more caffeine
But we just all wanted to hold her back
We did not want her eyes to see all black

Her friend wonders but she doesn’t ask
It’s hard to see when you can’t unmask
The truth lays hiding in trouble born
It’s like you’re eating lots of corn

So much pain from the rain
‘Cuz she’s got money from her parents in a trust fund back east
We fought her hard, we fought her well, out on the plains, it all ceased

Caffeine Bagel

Somebody cries in the middle of the night
The girl is filled with lots and lots of fright
The bag of candy she holds is so fake
But when morning comes it will be too late

So much pain from the rain
‘Cuz she’s got money from her parents in a trust fund back east
We fought her hard, we fought her well, out on the plains, it all ceased

Caffeine Bagel

The bagel sits in the crowded case
Watching a girl with a pretty face
A smelly bagel, hard as a rock
No cream cheese which the buyer forgot
